Funding Graduate Students through Institutional and Regional Efforts

Wed, 04/04/2018 - 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Bizzell Library, Helmerich Community Room (BL LL 118)

Are you interested in developing and/or leading programs that support graduate students?

Do you need information about funding related to these programs?

The Graduate Education Reality Check will present a variety of external funding opportunities and resources related to supporting graduate students and designing training and professional development programs for them and with them.  If you have wanted to develop and lead programs supporting graduate students but didn’t have the funds or strategy, this workshop can broaden your awareness of resources and help you plan first steps in developing and leading programs. This is also a great opportunity to connect with others to learn about ongoing efforts.

Please join us to learn more about resourcing opportunities for graduate students.

Because seating is limited, please register HERE.

When:            April 4, 2018 at 1:00pm

Where:           Bizzell Library, Lower Level 1 (Room 118)

Speakers:       Alicia Knoedler, Executive Associate Vice President for Research

Lori Snyder, Associate Professor, Department of Psychology

For faculty unable to attend the session, we will be live streaming the event.  If you are interested in viewing via Facebook Workplace, please register using the “Live Stream Viewing” ticket type.  You must use your OU email address to register, and OU Facebook Workplace will send you an invitation to “Join Now”.  You only have to join once, and you will have access to all of the prior (recorded) and subsequent sessions.  After you join, you will be sent a link to access the CRPDE Events page.  Unfortunately, the live stream option is not available to students at this time.
