Understanding the Funding Landscape to Support Broadening Participation of Underrepresented Groups

Wed, 04/18/2018 - 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Bizzell Library, Helmerich Community Room (BL LL 118)

Do you want to develop programs related to diversity, access and/or inclusion, but don’t know where to start?

Do you want to connect with others who are interested in broadening participation?

The Center for Research Program Development and Enrichment (CRPDE) will facilitate a workshop focusing on Broadening Participation of Underrepresented Groups. This workshop will present a variety of external funding opportunities and resources related to broadening the participation of underrepresented groups. If you have wanted to develop and lead programs related to diversity, access, and/or inclusion but did not have the funding or strategy, this workshop can broaden your awareness of resources and help you plan first steps to developing and leading programs. This is also a great opportunity to connect with others to learn about ongoing efforts.

When:            April 18th at 1:00pm

Where:           Bizzell Library, Lower Level 1 (Room 118)

Speaker:         Alicia Knoedler, Executive Associate Vice President for Research

Because seating is limited, please register HERE.

For those unable to attend the session, we will be live streaming the event.  If you are interested in viewing via Facebook Workplace, please register using the “Live Stream Viewing” ticket type.  You must use your OU email address to register, and OU Facebook Workplace will send you an invitation to “Join Now”.  You only have to join once, and you will have access to all of the prior (recorded) and subsequent sessions.  After you join, you will be sent a link to access the CRPDE Events page.  Unfortunately, the live stream option is not available to students at this time.
