Department of Energy (DoE) Agency Overview

Tue, 03/27/2018 - 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Bizzell Library, Helmerich Community Room (BL LL 118)

What kinds of research will the Department of Energy fund?

·       How do you know where to submit your proposal?

·       What is the review process?

The Center for Research Program Development and Enrichment (CRPDE) will facilitate a faculty seminar focusing on the purpose, structure and culture of the Department of Energy (DoE).  As a federal agency charged with ensuring our country’s security and prosperity, the DoE focuses on US energy and environmental challenges through transformative science and technology solutions.

During this seminar, we will discuss the application process, funding programs and the review criteria.  Whether your expertise is in science, technology, engineering, national security, international affairs or business, this seminar is a great way to learn more about funding through DoE.

Because seating is limited, please register HERE.  For faculty unable to attend the session, we will be live streaming the event.  If you are interested in viewing via Facebook Workplace, please register using the “Live Stream Viewing” ticket type.  You must use your OU email address to register, and OU Facebook Workplace will send you an invitation to “Join Now”.  You only have to join once, and you will have access to all of the prior (recorded) and subsequent sessions.  After you join, you will be sent a link to access the CRPDE Events page.  Unfortunately, the live stream option is not available to students at this time.
