Navigating the NIH Proposal Submission Process

Wed, 01/24/2018 - 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Four Partners Place, Room 3065

Have questions about developing and submitting an NIH proposal?

·       Who should I talk to at NIH?

·       What documents are needed?

·       Why should I submit early?

·       How should I prepare my budget?

·       What submission changes will be required after January 25?

The Center for Research Program Development and Enrichment (CRPDE) and the VPR Office of Proposal Services will facilitate the Navigating the NIH Application Submission Process workshop to provide faculty with an understanding of the requirements and process of submitting an NIH research application. This seminar will include information on changes to Human Subjects and Clinical Trials, as well as clarification of what should be included in the Research Strategy attachment.

Presenters:             Fran Stephens, Proposal Development Specialist in the Office of Research Services

Quyen Wickham, Strategic Research Coordinator in the Center for Research Program Development and Enrichment
