Introduction to Early Career Funding Opportunities

Tue, 01/09/2018 - 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Bizzell Library, Digital Scholarship Conference Room

Are you looking for funding programs specifically for Early Faculty?

Do you need help in finding a program that aligns with your research needs?

The Center for Research Program Development and Enrichment (CRPDE) will facilitate two (duplicative) workshops, focusing on the federal funding agencies and programs specifically for early faculty.  The Introduction to Early Career Funding Opportunities workshops are interactive, hands-on sessions that provide faculty with sponsor information and a chance to identify funding programs specific to their research needs.  Whether you are searching for seed funding or funding that recognizes exceptional research, attending one of these workshops is a great way to learn more about multiple funding programs for early faculty.

Topics of Discussion:

·       Searching for early career funding opportunities

·       Aligning funding sources with research interests

·       Determining strategies for incorporating early career funding sources into a tenure-track plan

Please bring your laptop as you will be conducting searches for funding agencies specific to your research.  Because seating is limited, please register using one of the links below:
