NSF RAPID Program Information

Mon, 10/09/2017 - 2:30pm - 4:00pm
Five Partners Place, Room 3201

  • Does your research involve unanticipated events or disasters?
  •  Is it urgent that you collect data quickly from the area?
  • Are you interested in developing an NSF RAPID proposal now or in the future?

The Center for Research Program Development and Enrichment (CRPDE) will facilitate two seminars focusing on the NSF Rapid Response Research (RAPID) program.  Each session will include an overview of the program and a discussion led by an OU NSF RAPID awardee.  Whether you are planning to submit a proposal to study the latest natural disasters, Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, or desire information for future projects, this is a great way to learn more about the program.

This session, NSF RAPID Program Information, will focus on:

  • Program overview
  • Proposal requirements
  • OU faculty experience

We will hold two (duplicative) sessions, and because seating is limited, please register below to attend the October 9th session:

Speaker:         Amy Cerato, School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science

Award:           RAPID: Large-Scale Shake Table Test to Quantify Seismic Response of Helical Piles in Dry Sand
