Integration of Research and Education
Integration of Research and Education – NSF CAREER proposals should describe an integrated path that will lead to a successful career as an outstanding researcher and educator. Applicants need to think creatively about the reciprocal relationship between the proposed research and education activities and how they may inform each other in their career development as both outstanding researchers and educators.
The Center for Research Program Development and Enrichment (CRPDE) will be hosting two workshops to discuss this critical NSF proposal element and will provide guidance in the development of a thoughtful and competitive integration plan.
