You are invited to attend a public lecture by Marc Rotenberg,
the founding director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC),the leading "think tank" on privacy issues in today's digital age. The lec
ture will be at 8 pm on Monday November 14 in the auditorium in Gaylord Hal
l. (The auditorium is towards the north end of the building on the main nor
th-south hallway.) The talk should run about 45 minutes to an hour, and itwill be followed by a question and answer session. Mr. Rotenberg's talk istitled, "The Surveillance State in Film--and Fact". Mr. Rotenberg is an a
ccomplished public speaker, and this film-based lecture will be both enter
taining and informative.
